SOUND RECORDERS, INC. FTP INFORMATION

To send us your files via FTP (File Transfer Protocol), use an FTP-savvy browser or a separate program like Fetch for the Mac (found here) or FTP Explorer, and File Dog for PC users. Use the following information:

  • Host Name: soundrecordersinc.com

  • User: anonymous@soundrecordersinc.com

  • Password: none required

When providing artwork, please use the following guidelines:

  1. It is preferable that the files be created in the following applications-

    • Adobe Photoshop v. 5.0 or earlier (for images only-no text, please)

    • Adobe Illustrator v. 9.0 or earlier

    • Macromedia FreeHand 8.0 or earlier

    • Quark XPress 4.1 or earlier

    • Adobe PageMaker 6.5 or earlier

  2. Trapping-

    • All spot colors should be trapped from .25pt to .5pt. on all CD stamps.

  3. Reverses-

    • The minimum reverse type should be 6pt for serif fonts (Times, Palatino, etc.)and 5 pt for sans serif fonts (Arial, Helvetica, Futura, etc.) if at all possible.
